Use the extractor priming-assist hose to clear trapped air from inside your extractor’s pump system.
Priming is the process of filling your pump system with water and removing any air. Normally, the pump will self-prime as it draws from your extractor’s freshwater tank. But if an air pocket forms in the line, it can’t generate pressure correctly. That’s when force priming is needed. The priming-assist hose makes force priming simple, fast, and efficient!
To use:
- Fill your freshwater tank to at least the halfway point.
- Attach the priming-assist hose to the solution quick connect and position the plug in front of the vacuum inlet.
- Turn on your pump.
- Turn on your vacuum motor for about 20-30 seconds. If a prime is not achieved with the first round, repeat this step.
- Once water flows smoothly through the hose, disconnect it — your machine is now primed and ready to operate.
